English Tutor
ICLT Hiring Principles.
Two things:
1. Excellent knowledge of written and oral English
2. Superb communication skills.
We train and support our team rigorously, ensuring that eventually they have access to global training tools, while encouraging creative independence each team member can bring to the table.
With this, we have people from all walks of life teaching at our team: you might not have a degree in English, or be Cambridge certified, but if you are curious, passionate and possess stellar communication skills – you’re our kind! So what if you’re a biologist who has a knack for languages, or a dance teacher whose English skills have been honed through study abroad or watching “Friends” a gazillion times. If you can speak English fluently – we don’t care how you got there.
- Applications without cover letter, subject, or proper email get less recognition: we expect you, irrespective of the position you’re applying for, to be aware of basic work ethics.
- Do not apply with a copy pasted letter. Or copy pasted anything: we expect you to be
creative enough with your own words - If you’ve mentioned that you’re detail-oriented, but your CV has spelling errors, or worse, is not properly type set, we might pass.
- If you’ve bothered to learn about us, and what we’re looking for, and reflect that in your CV and/or Cover letter, we’re likely to reach back out to you
